Dr. Michael Long grew up in a medical family and always knew he wanted to combine the challenge of medicine with his love for animals. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dental care, internal and preventive medicine.

A native of Kansas, Dr. Long attended Kansas State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. He then went on to attend St. Matthew's University of Veterinary Medicine (spending the last year at Oklahoma State University), and was awarded Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. Dr. Long practiced in rural Oklahoma before relocating to Orange County. He is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with his family, exploring National Parks, and watching soccer with his little buddy "Jackson".
